Welcome to the Long Cottage website. Your stay at Long Cottage combines access to all the wonderful countryside of North Devon with a tranquil base to relax in.
Long Cottage has three bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. There is also a lounge for guests with sofas, MP3/ipod player, TV and refreshment facilities.
Long Cottage is within 4 miles of Croyde, Saunton, Putsborough and Woolacombe and just 1 mile from the best pub in the area!

Ensuite Bedroom
This bedroom has a kingsize double bed while the bathroom has a bath with shower all in clean contemporary style. The window faces down the valley and gets the easterly early morning sun.
Double Bedroom
The double bedroom faces the garden with a low level window and a rooflight. There is a kingsize bed and built in wardrobe. The bathroom is opposite the room and is for this room only. Finished to the same standard as the ensuite it is very comfortable.
Twin Room
This room is the most flexible room we have. The double bed can also be 2 singles, there is an additional single bed in the room so it can also sleep 3. Popular with groups this room allows for maximum flexibility, without compramising on space. The bathroom is next door to the bedroom with a large bath, deep and long enough for just about anybody!
Sitting Room
For our guests we have provided a sitting area with TV and fireplace for relaxing in. There are drinks making facilities for hot drinks and guests are welcome to use the fridge for cold drinks as well.
Bathrooms
All our bathrooms are modern and contemporary, all with showers over the baths.

There is plenty of parking for everyone as well as an area to sit out in the evenings

Surfers
We have wetsuit rinsing and drying facilities inside to avoid clammy suit syndrome the next morning.
All our beaches are within easy reach, Simon can recommend the best beach to head to given local conditions on the day, having lived and surfed here most of his life.
Non Surfers
There is plenty to do for those not keen to get wet. If you fancy a bike ride there are many local cycle routes both off road and on, bikes may be hired from local bike shops in Braunton.
There are loads of stunning local walks from a couple of hours to all day exertion. We have guides to all of these which we lend to guests
If you dont fancy being outdoors how about a relaxing massage. Karine is a qualified massage and beauty therapist and has a range of treatments avaialable.
